After waiting for two months, we heard from the California franchise tax board today. We are now exempt from state tax and now all our donations are exempt from both federal and state tax.
We never knew there would be so many formalities in forming a charity! We are glad that we will be completing all our initial formalities soon and will soon be ready to start some good ground work.
