| On Anand Charity: I have always wanted to be involved in charitable efforts and I feel I have the responsibility to give back to the country I grew up in. Through Anand Charity, I have the opportunity to do both. If fifty kids grow up and lead successful lives or if hundred people are cured of cancer and can be with their families because of Anand Charity, it is something I can be proud of and Anand Charity can be proud of. I am looking forward to making a difference to many lives in India through this wonderful organization. | |

On Anand Charity: Growing up in India, I lived in a neighborhood that was surrounded by slums, riddled with children suffering from poverty, illiteracy and lack of health care. Only a chosen few receive the right opportunities in life and it is up to them to help those who do not. I would like to contribute in any which way I can towards the betterment of the Indian society, and Anand charity has opened up that door for me. I will extend my fullest support to Anand Charity to heal India and make it a better place to live. |

| On Anand Charity: This is an opportunity for me to give back to the country I grew up in. I would like this organization to be one that people can always trust to touch peoples lives back home. After all, any contribution, whether big or small, will positively impact atleast one needy person's life in India. | |
| Kartikeya Murari | |
| Graduate student B.Tech, IIT Madras and M.S., Johns Hopkins University |
|
| On Anand Charity: I've always wanted to help other people, but lacked the initiative and drive to actually do something actively about it. It's not always that the opportunity for helping others comes to you, but that was the case with me and Anand Charity. I hope to make a difference with Anand Charity, perhaps simply by making it easier for people like me to help others. | |

| Engineer B.Tech and M.Tech from IIT Madras, PhD from UIUC |
|
| On Anand Charity: Having been born and lived in India, a developing nation, for over 20 years, I have seen and experienced some of the social problems first hand. Living in the United States now, and enjoying the basic amenities and better standard of living, it makes me feel fortunate and at the same time responsible. It appeals to my inner consciousness to partake in work that will provide similar services to people in India. Anand Charity's vision resonates well with this personal ambition. I look forward to contributing, in any way possible, towards this cause. | |
| Shankar Krithivasan | |
| Processor design engineer B.Tech, IIT Madras and M.S., University of Wisconsin, Madison |
|
| On Anand Charity: During my schooling years in India and the regular grind of going through engineering college, I never got an opportunity to get involved in any form of dedicated community service. I always had it in the back of my mind, that some day I would prioritize my life, such that I could do a little more than just make the regular tax-deductible donations. 'Anand Charity' has given me an opportunity to work with trusted friends, who care for the community and are highly motivated to make an impact in the lives of people who need our help. I am excited to be a part of this mission and aspire to bring a smile on many a face. | |

| Post-Doctoral Researcher B.E, University of Madras, Ph.D., Oregon State University |
|
| On Anand Charity: I have always felt the need to help the under-privileged people but never had an opportunity to directly do so when I was in India. But now through some good friends with the common interest, my desire is fulfilled. I have joined the Anand Charity with the hope that I would be able to influence the life of atleast a few people back home. Even if a small numberof people are cured of their illness or a small number of kids are able to obtain the basic education,my goals will be fulfilled. |
